“The guide, Natalie, has a truly beautiful personality. I wish this were a better tour because I want to give her 5 stars for her efforts and personality. However, the tour itself is just a tourist trap. The company has the guide take you to a fruit market, then a touristy museum of some gold ornaments and stuff (for almost an hour), then the type of souvenir market that you can find in any tourist city (fridge magnets, cheap leather bracelets, etc). I left after that so I don’t know the rest. We talked to the company we booked with and explicitly asked them NOT to take us to these…”

But after a week in Bogota it is refreshing to see some country. Raquila itself is bright and cheerful with good prices on artesenial crafts. Villa de Leyva is a nice colonial town and the winery is very pleasant. Sit back and enjoy your day.”
