The things that let the tour down: a meal should be included. It was an early start of 7am (when no shops or bakeries are open to buy breakfast/snacks) and it wasn't until 10am (despite being told we would have the opportunity to get something at 8am and then an hour later at 9am) we stopped where there were 2 shops with terrible and unhealthy breakfast choices (ended up having cake and crisps for breakfast). However there were bakeries in the town but the bus stopped…”

“Nice and exquisite experience. I recommend! My group was small (7 people including me). First stop was in Zipaquira town. It is dispensable, but you can have a fast snack to prepare for the cathedral of salt. The visit to the Cathedral is nice. After obtaining a ticket (the driver helps you to buy), they give you an audioguide in various languages. John was our driver. He is not a guide, but helped us to understand the stations within the Cathedral, and to provide us with some useful tips. If you want a full guided experience, this is not for you. “I did a Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral and Guatavita Lagoon with Sebastian as our guide and Jesus, the driver. I will preface this review by saying I often do not take the time to write reviews. Walking tours can become boring especially when not all the historical details are of interest. Sebastian kept me interested and listening through the entire tour with his humour and character. He is genuine, kind, and enthusiastic. His English is excellent because he has lived in United States for many years before returning to Colombia. Jesus navigated very treacherous roads skillfully.
