Hike to Colombia’s tallest waterfall from Bogotá with breakfast, lunch, Andean scenery, bilingual guiding, and round-trip transport.

“This was an amazing hike and just the right amount of challenge. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. At its highest, the hike reaches almost 2,000 feet and many parts are uphill climbing. The scenery is beautiful and our breakfast and lunch were very tasty. Definitely bring some cash as they were stalls along the way where you could buy local yogurt and drinks. The tour mentions no water included but we were able to get a bottle of water at breakfast and they also give you a small backpack with water, snacks, and a poncho at the beginning of the hike. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers…”

Felt safe the entire time. So grateful Olinto provided walking sticks and high rain boots, the mud could get deep at times, helped when crossing the river too. Olinto provided breakfast and lunch served at a local restaurant, very authentic and tasty. My husband and I truly had a fun day!”

Review of the private Cocora Valley and Salento hike tour, with wax palms, Willys jeeps, local culture, guide tips, price, and practical advice.

“Based on our experience with our tour guide, there are other ways to do the Cocora Tour which are much cheaper. The tour guide explained so little about Cocora and Salento, neither the history or any additional information. The only thing the tour guide did was walking with us in Cocora and in Salento with NO information, we payed 70 euros each for this and it is not worth it. But we highly recommend the place.”
