When we arrived the cafe on time, the cafe was closed and no one was there for us. The adjacent shop kindly contacted the cafe staff and eventually the staff arrived and the tasting kicked off 30 minutes late. 2. We felt a lot of their wealth of coffee knowledge may have been lost in translation. Overall a little bit difficult to understand and didn’t have the depth we were hoping for.”

We booked the tour on a Monday afternoon which we discovered was not a good time to see the market because the big market is closed, so it was a shame we were not informed this by the company beforehand. However this was the only time we could do and our guide Jorge was fantastic and basically customised a tour for our group of 3, visiting the market to try new fruits and catfish, then for ponchos and churros then to the bakery for the hot chocolate, cheese and tamales, and then to Bolivar Square for aromatica. Jorge was an entertaining guide…”
